In New York, like in Paris, people love to dine out. One of my new favorite spots right now in Manhattan is Navy. It has incredible food – simple recipes executed in exciting ways, using super fresh produce. Even the avocado toast looks like a work of art (recipe for this will be up later today!).
The other day, we stopped by to meet with Camille who is the co-owner and chef. Her style is so cool and original. She has a very practical approach (she’s a busy woman!) but always looks chic, and that’s something I see carried through in the interiors of the restaurant.

Wow, what a stylish co-owner! She is definitely an additional eye-candy in this obvioulsy wonderful restaurant. Love it especially that she wears not only a complete denim look, which fits perfect to the style of the decoration but also a high waist flare jeans which belongs at the moment to my favourite garments :)

Le lieu a l’air effectivement très sympa et la gérante a “du chien”, c’est pas très élégant comme expression, mais je trouve qu’elle dégage cela, une vrai personnalité!

If I lived in NYC I would head right over to Navy, it is charming, and the food looks very inviting! Got to say, I HAD those jeans!, Maybe mid 1970’s, my husband had a jeans store and I got a couple of the hot styles. I remember that if you happen to overeat, the high waist will kill your stomach. That was before lycra! Camille wears it well.
