I had some kind of major breakdown during Milan fashion week : “Aaaaaaargh I need to get my hair cut NOW!!!”
I sent out an SOS to Viviana, and she sent me to Davide Diodovich, who she works with on shootings and who cuts her beautiful hair.
The haircut went great (And Davide tells me, exactly like you do : let them curl and wear them dooooown !) but I also fell in love with his decor.
He just opened, and his salon is secretely nested in a beautiful building of the Via Tasso. He designed it by himself and he is just about to finish, but I had to show you a few images because I just loved the style so much, from the floral arrangements, to the floors, the objects…
Even the way he arranged his color tubes is artistic !
I love it.

AAAh the furniture is so incredibly cool, I’m dying! The pink chairs in particular. I think part of me is starting to like furniture as much as fashion, which is slightly worrying when you have a fashion business I suppose… Oh well! And Garance, Davide is a wise man: let your hair down!!

Ce que j’aime le plus dans ce salon c’est que justement ça ne ressemble pas trop à un salon de coiffure mais plutôt à un appart super cosy et chaleureux.

Speaking of hair… I met you at a book signing and you mentioned that you liked my hair. I’m awful at explaining how to do things so here is a tutorial for a french twist. I wear my hair like this a lot and I find it comes out pretty nice when my hair is wet. Hope you enjoy!

Curly hair is an ‘accessory’ that you need to take advantage of! Rare, interesting, with constant movement and of course with volume! I used to make my hair straight for 2 years but now…I love them as they are!

Ooola la la, Davide, he was my hairdressing teacher at Vidal Sassoon, he´s fabulous.
OK.We love the vibe of the salon. Minimalistic, a kiss of pink, sleek, mid-century chairs, lamps..modern cool feel, killa/ floral designs.. elegant walls with character…All, so simple, elegant. peaceful. Lovely to come home to!
AHHHH Garance…. GIRLFRIEND!, where ya gonna put Scott’s 4,000… and growing.. photography books!??? Oh that’s right,you’ll do like Anna….rent the apartment next door as a temperature controlled archive for his growing ‘library’!

Ah, those moments when you just know that you need your hair cut and everything is going to fall magically into it’s place.Had one of those last week, cut my hair short and I feel absolutely great again!
