A New Nina Ricci

Nina Ricci collections are known for their femininity, but the arrival of Guillaume Henry at the design helm has seen them dial it down ever so slightly and take a more modern approach.
Their team saw this collection as a kind of clean slate. The classic, feminine dress silhouettes are still there, but now interplay with pants and jackets in bolder cuts. I love this new Nina – a woman who wears a chic tailored suit or lace skirt by day, but isn’t afraid of sequins at night…
Okay, I can’t help but look at the audience & it seems everyone collaborated on a color palette, except the woman in red. Love the sequined dress.

Guillaume Henry did a wonderful job at Carven(and i am sure he will be missed..i am not crazy about the new direction…. but we will give them time…) and he is doing a great job at Nina Ricci he integrated the Nina Ricci style and his own esthetic and it gave berth to a very good show…love it!!

I am digging the new Nina Ricci! I love the play of textures and the soft with structured silhouettes. The black coat with the lace dress is such a powerful and sensual look!

Je suis agréablement surprise par la proposition de Guillaume Henry, j’aimais beaucoup le style et la modernité qu’il avait insufflé à la maison Carven. Il redéfinit la grammaire stylistique de la maison Nina Ricci tout en gardant l’ADN de la marque.
J’adore aussi cette nouvelle collection, un vent de fraîcheur.

I like the work the designer did for Carven and his new twist on a modern femininity works for me. The neutral tones and mixing up of textures is pretty fabulous.
