Here’s a quick glimpse into everything I lug around during fashion week…
– A notebook, I always hold on to the hope that I’ll have the time to write and draw in it (which of course never happens)…
– Little pouches to try to keep myself organized (one full of used-up cards–I know, I know Scott always tells me to put them in the little plastic boxes but I never do…)
– Subway cards and metro tickets because they will save your life when the entire city is one big traffic jam.
– A Samsung Galaxy that I can use to draw (it has a little stylus and everything!) on my Instagram photos (it’s still a little artistically rough but I’m getting better!)
– A scarf, because it’s chic (or so I imagine)
– Life savers like hair ties, powder (that’s just life = I get shiny), red lipstick in case I’m looking a little tired and a perfume stick.
– A hat so I can look cool (the ‘S’ is for Saturdays, the NYC surf shop, but in my case I like to imagine it’s S for Scott)
– A big clutch that I love (I’ve developed quite the science or even the art, if you will, of taking photos while still holding onto my clutch)(I didn’t say it was classy)(But it works!!!)

I almost started crying reading this post! I jut got my bag stolen ;( It had my wallet in it, all my precious make up and some clothes, including a pair of vintage shorts (they can’t be replaced) and a shirt made by my grandmother and my Dr. Martens. I now have to rebuy everything and don’t know where to start. Did anything like this ever happen to you? If yes, how did you react? Love your posts, love your blog!

Tissue (Kleenex have cute slim packs which would fit nicely in a clutch) and a small tube of Advil. I am all about nice and compact.

Des mouchoirs évidemment ;) Surtout par ce froid, être enrhumé est si vite arrivé, c’est une des délicieuses choses que nous offre l’hiver entre autre!
Et un grand miroir, parce que le tout petit dans la poudre St Laurent c’est pas pratique pour avoir une vue d’ensemble!

i like these kind of posts very much, it is always big fun to see what’s in other girls bags. so if i imagine how my bag would look like while joining the fashion week, i guess there would be some more money (do you survive on these small bunch of coins? or is your big cash in another small pouch?….), then gloves (if your feet is cold, because of “trending” no socks, you’ll better keep your hands warm….:))) reading glasses, maybe also a tablet, the invitations (guess they are in your notebook?), some candy (because of no time to eat and you have to get some sugar for your metabolism), and eventually a small camera. I guess after stuffing all that in the wonderful clutch looks like a cushion…. ahha, but then it will even better fit to your blanket….;-)

And….just a little tip… my hair dresser once told me to stop using elastic hair bands with metallic pieces, cause this part damages your hair…. just crossed my mind, when I saw yours. I think he’s right and I found some good ones without the metallic part ;-) xxx

Dans le désordre: des mouchoirs of course, de l’eau, un porte feuille (!!!), des chaufferettes pour les mains en plus des gants(petites pochettes à craquer pour créer du chaud) trop bien avec ce temps! Du baume pour les levres car le rouge à levres seul ne suffit pas! Voili voilou

Ahhhh, I carry my A5 sketchbook everywhere I go to, and my pocket water color box, with a glimmer of hope that I can draw everywhere, which in my case is happening :D

Très très belle photo, je vas me faire la même avec mes affaires (je cherchais un fond d’écran il y a 10 secondes, et là, j’arrive et il y a cette superbe photo!
Je me disais une chose : pour l’hiver, le Dieu de la mode a inventé de magnifiques manteaux, bottes des couvre-chefs originaux et chauds et des gants chics. Nous n’avons l’occasion de les porter qu’en hiver, alors pourquoi s’entêter à porter des ballerines et autres escarpins avec un trench ou autres vêtements de printemps lorsqu’on peut porter des habits de saison (certes moins sexy, mais plus confortables et chics)? De plus on évite de passer pour une dinde prête à faire semblant qu’elle n’a pas froid juste pour faire la belle!
My first thought was- you have enough time to take notes in a notebook?! I was like- what am I doing wrong? If I’m lucky I take notes in my iPhone but that’s the most of it. I have to rely on my photos to do some talking when I get back to my computer. Cute clutch!

OK, I just took a peek in mine, and I have everything you have, plus:
*Band-Aid blister block – great for going sock-less
*earphones for my phone – handy for important conversations as well as listening to music on the subway
* a natural bristle hairbrush (tho I’m always having to replace it because it gets smashed)
BTW, great hairpins, where did you get? And I second getting rid of the elastics. I never use them any more.

Je dirais qu’il manque : des mouchoirs, un miroir de poche, une mini brosse cheveux ROSE, une crème pour les mains, un vernis (si un moment pour le faire ou refaire se présente), une mini trousse à médicaments et … un portefeuille? ;)

hi G, for your hair, and listen, this WORKS GREAT FOR DOING A BUN/CHIGNON: try the Spin Pin by Goody. cheap, makes the best buns for curly hair, and no it never gets tangled at all. It’s such a cool product! You can do it quickly, in a car, and removes just as easily.

– des kleenex parce que le nez qui coule , c’est pas chic. Il existe des petits paquets qui sentent le menthom
– du baume pour les lévres genre Neutrogena parce que le rouge à lèvres rouge sur les lévres déssechées, c’est pas chic
– de l’eau
– une barre céréales pour le sugar rush
– des gants
– une lime à ongles
– et une ou 2 serviettes déodorantes No panic chez Sephora.
– du paracetamol et un pansement
Voilà ma liste de courses, à savoir, si ça peut rentrer dans ta magnifique pochette… j’y crois!!!

Allons bon, tiens tiens tiens… du coup j’attendrais un VRAI POST avec comparatif Galaxy/iPhone… Nicola Formichetti avait switché son iPhone contre un Galaxy -créant beaucoup de commentaires scandalisés sur instagram- il a tenu 3 jours ! Trop compliqué à manipuler selon lui. Mais les ventes de Galaxy battent celles de l’iphone, il y a un buzz énorme et tout… so… pourquoi le Galaxy remplacerait-il l’iphone ? c’est vraiment mieux ? va-t-on garder quand même un iPad+un Galaxy ? ou quoi ? peut-être que Grazia ou Elle a déjà traité ces interrogations cruciales, mais j’ai raté cet épisode !
(Questions de la part de quelqu’un qui est ENCORE sur Blackberry+iPod Touch, donc je vois tout ça de bien loin croyez-moi)

Hello from Pennsylvania. I love when you do these posts. I have found a clutch with a wristlet very helpful so my hands are free when I need them to be. My clutch also has slots on one side of the interior to hold cards of all sorts and a slot for money which eliminates the need for a wallet (from Ann Taylor). Super convenient!
