  • My favorites of Paris where Dries Van Noten and Valentino! And I love what Rick Owens showed us, we really need to come away from that “one way beauty thinking”, I for myself saw a lot of beauty in that show! Love your collage Garance! xxx

Perfection. Classe intemporelle. Sensualité chic. Ses vêtements me font rêver …

    xx

  • Marc Jacobs’s last show for Louis Vuitton. ? ? ?

    Garance-

looooooooooooove your blog. It’s part of my morning ritual. Thanks for sharing your talent with us!

Re: seating cards from MiuMiu- or other designer invitations for fashion shows…

You could create a beautiful coffee book with those little cards and the proceeds could go to the CFDA or some other fashion charity.

The invitation from each designer goes on the facing page and a sketch/photo/image of a look from that particular collection could go on the opposite page.

You could create a book for each season and maybe it could become a collection itself for the entire decade.

Just a thought. Thanks for the amazing inspiration!

  • Love your collages. They are brilliant and very inspiring.

  • Love the collage! Loved the Rick Owens shows and of course fell in love with Balenciaga. Really enjoyed seeing Miranda Kerr at Stella McCartney too.
I think Paris is my favourite city in the world, sooo jealous you not only get to go to the shows but that you also used to live there! Haha xx

Merci Garance pour tout ca….J’adorèe Rochas, Prada, Valentino, Chanel…

  • Yes. Nice collage of images to get a feeling of this past week!

  • Oh Paris, never disappoints. x

  • Bravo !

  • Beautiful collage….. My love for Paris continues.x

  • The Rick Owens show. This is one of those times I am glad that I’m not in fashion b/c I most assuredly would have committed career suicide with my thoughts on it. I guess if you went to a college/ univ that didn’t have black fraternities or sororities, stepping is a new exciting novelty, but ask anyone in one of those organizations and they will tell you it’s anything but a novelty. Non fraternity step crews have been around forever. Garance, you know I respect you but I have to disagree about challenging notions of beauty here. Mean mugging and doo rags doesn’t challenge my idea of beauty, it just amplifies skewed notions of one’s perception of blackness. Was it some sort of commentary on the lack of black models in the shows? If I were a black model I’d have a problem with that premise too since he chose not to use real models.

I am a firm believer in art that challenges those that are comfortable. To me the show missed the mark on all levels. The intro was great and his music is always on point, but the rest fell as flat.
