A Beauty Minute with Ryann Bosetti

Morning: I use an argan oil based cleanser and then I use rose hip oil and I cover my face in that. I also have an argan oil moisturizer that I put on. The only thing that is super fancy that I put on my face is my under eye cream, it is by Valmont, a Swiss brand. After that, I put on a hydrating serum by Tu’el and non-toxic, mineral based sunscreen from Tizo.
I try not to wear makeup everyday as a ritual. I’ll have it if I’m going to go do something for an event. I feel like having a really intense skin maintenance helps me not have to worry about foundation, as long as I take care of my skin.
Day: I like to carry red lipstick with me all the time, in case I want to wear it. I love Ruby Woo matte lipstick from MAC. It really stays on, never comes off. I have a Laura Mercier compact powder that I put on. I always have a little SPF stick in my bag just because I’m a pale person. Especially being in Marfa [Texas], being in the desert all the time. Even if you wear a really high SPF, if you’re outside all day, it won’t work after half the day.
Night: I wash my face with the same cleanser. Then I put on this fruit acid based exfoliant, also by Tu’el. Thats the only thing that is different from my morning practice. The rest is the same as morning!”
She is so elegant and has a one of a kind face i don’t think she needs more than a lipstick especially when in summer time we are so much more beautiful than winter..where we need more……color,makeup..
argan oil is a plant oil produced from the kernels of the argan that is endemic to Morocco.and it is so great as a basic product for our face body and hair winter and summer..it’s wonderful ….

Her skin is flawless- if mine looked like that I’d only wear lipstick, too! I love reading stuff like this because I haven’t changed my skin care routine in 10 years, but my skin is definitely not as glow-y as it was as a teenager. I’m all ears for recommendations!

Je m’occupe bien de ma peau. Je ne mets plus de fond de teint et la seule fois cet été fût pour un mariage. Ma peau se porte à merveille sans maquillage et elle parait tellement belle, mise à part mes pores qui sont larges au niveau de mon nez mais c’est tout. Le soin de la peau avant de se préoccuper d’acheter les meilleurs fond de teint sur le marché. Lorsque je sors je fais que mes sourcils, un peu de mascara et un lipstick nude Taupe (mat) de MAC ou bien Creme in your coffee de MAC.
She is lovely, but honest-to-God I only use these on my face: baby oil to remove makeup, then wash with cheap liquid soap, rinse, and follow up with shea butter that smells like chocolate and only costs $6 a bottle. My face is smoother in Phoenix in the arid temps than it ever was in the humidity and cold of Rochester, NY. No one believes my age! I think it’s genetics, but the shea butter is pretty amazing because it smells so good. Despite what anyone says about baby oil and soap, I swear by it. No wrinkles, no blemishes. Oh, and the chocolate lotion. Did I mention that? :)
