Morning: The first thing I do when I get up is take a shower and start the day with my favourite Jurlique face moisturiser. It’s light and perfect for hot days. If I have appointments planed for the morning and it’s sunny outside, I like to use No Foundation by Perricone MD. It is a brand I discovered on my last Sephora visit. It is organic and the foundation tones in with the same color of your face. I have a lot of freckles so I like this product because it is very light and easy to use and most importantly it has SPF 30 in it.
Afterwards I give my cheeks a healthy bronzing touch with Tom Ford’s Shade and Illuminate. I finish off my look with Lucas Papaw Ointment for my lips, it moisturizes, gives a bit of shine and doesn’t dry them out. I like to curl my eyelashes with an eyelash curler but wear no mascara, it opens your eyes and feels summery and fresh.
Day: Papaw Ointment and Rosewater Balancing Mist by Jurlique for a little wake up mist moment during the day. Last but not least, I always have my Bobbi Brown foundation stick in my handbag for quick and easy cover up of anything that needs it.
Night: After a long day of work with makeup on, I take my eye makeup off with oily eye makeup removing pads from the chemist. I find I don’t have to rub to much and whatever eye makeup I have on comes off very easily. I wash my face with Dermalogica Special Foaming Cleanser. Before I put on my Jurlique moisturizer, I apply Estee Lauder’s “Advanced night Repair” serum which is essential to me and my personal treat for my skin. My sister always says: you only have one skin, so look after it!”

Je suis complètement d’accord, il faut toujours protéger sa peau des UV avec une crème protectrice! Il y a quelques années, je n’en mettais pas et j’avais toujours plein de tâches brunes sur le visage….

I just started using Perricone’s No Foundation as well and I love it. It is very subtle but just kind of smoothes everything out without clogging in wrinkles so you have an overall glow. And the sucscreen is not chemical based so it’s much better for your skin.

Great routine, No foundation /Foundation from NV Perricone is absolutely a product to try its fantastic and have all goodies in it of a care ! but seriously Lucas Papaw Ointment I know its popular cause cheap etc but its so BAD for your lips so much SH@# in it !!!! (petroleum jelly base)

There is nothing organic in the No foundation from Perricone except the sunscreen. It has mineral oil and silicones in it besides other ingredients that are far away from being organic. That doesn’t mean that it is a bad product, I just want to give correct information.

Jurlique is a great natural, biodynamic brand. I love their radiance face was as well, and the rosewater, which is one of their bestsellers.
I like this simple, clean approach — makeup that just slightly enhances without any element of disguise (some intense makeup makes people virtually unrecognizable) or drama. Which corroborates with my thinking that a lot of the concept of ‘beauty’ has, for me, to do with having great skin and a touch of color in the cheeks.
Yes she has had a little bit of foundation help (and is a natural beauty!) but it is obvious that she takes good care of her skin, which is really the start of everything.
Look after your skin and invest in a skincare routine that fits you, watch the ingredients that you put on it and go for a balanced approach. Your skin will benefit for years to come!
