A Beauty Minute With Alyssa Coscarelli

Morning: I’m loyal to cleansing, but not to cleansers. In the morning I wash with whatever I feel my face needs; sometimes Glossier Milky Jelly, other times Clearasil’s Acne Marks Wash, or just Bioderma micellar water. I tone morning and night with Biologique Recherche classic P50 lotion, a total gamechanger and worth the splurge. Lately I’ve been loving serums and moisturizer from Skinceuticals, and I wear Glossier’s sunscreen every single day. I’ve also recently been turned on to the Nuface Mini, an at-home microcurrent device that just, well, makes you look alive. As for my hair, I use everything from The Ouai: the volumizing shampoo and conditioner, wave spray, rose oil, dry shampoo are all favorites for my everyday natural waves.
Day: During winter I like to keep Avène Thermal Spring Water spray and Glossier Balm Dot Calm in my bag, always. I also carry around my entire makeup bag, which is a light mix of drugstore and other branded products. I love Maybelline’s Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Concealer under the eyes, and Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer anywhere else. I also use Maybelline’s Spider Lash mascara and Benefit’s bronzer and highlighter routinely.
Night: I remove my makeup with Bioderma micellar water, then again, cleanse with either a gentle cleanser or Mario Badescu’s Glycolic Foaming Cleanser. Again, I tone with P50 and finish off with my same serum and moisturizer. If I have time, I’ll do Biologique Recherche’s Masque Vivant whenever I can. And if my face needs a little extra drink, Valmont’s Prime Renewing Pack is great to sleep in if you want to wake up with glowy skin. On any breakouts, I swear by Kate Somerville’s Eradikate.
Does it get any more effortlessly cool than Alyssa? We think not. She’s a constant source of inspiration and healthy jealousy around the Studio.

I’ve never tried any Glossier products, but this is the third time I’ve heard someone recommend the Balm Dot Com this morning, so I might just go for it.

YES!! Glossier is so worth the purchase! While you’re at it, give the Boy Brow, Cloud Paint, and solid perfume a try too!! <3
