Here’s Ana Kras. She’s a lamp designer and photographer and I love her style. She just moved her studio to New York and I had a chance to visit last week…

Elle est magnifique, crée des lampes sublimes, et sa robe pull n’en parlons pas. Tout pour me rendre jalouse ;-) Une belle série de photo et une jolie découverte !
J’adore ses cheveux, la couleur, la longueur, la raie sur le côté qui met en valeur son visage, bref je veux sa chevelure ;)
Sinon ses lampes sont vraiment originales, j’aime beaucoup leurs formes et les couleurs proposées.

Every time I hear someone moves to NYC I get giddy with excitement as I think of all the wonderful things they will accomplish. At the same time, I wonder if that’s too much pressure to put on someone. If you move to NYC does it immediately mean that you’ve got to be “successful”? Garance, did you feel this kind of pressure moving to NYC??

Garance!! I have found my twin!! Well almost haha. I have very similar colouring to Ana’s when it comes to skin tone and hair tone and we also have very similar eye shape.
I’m begging you can you pleeeaaaasssseeeeeee find out the colour and brand of eyeshadow that Ana is wearing in the picture? My makeup routine seems similar to hers, at least from what I can see in the picture, but I have yet to find the perfect brown/taupe colour for an everyday look. And it seems as though she is wearing the colour I’ve been looking for :)

Ana is one of the Everlane models (Everlane makes fantastic t-shirts and sweaters). She’s my favorite of the models on that site – so gorgeous.

This is so funny! I had one of those lamps in my bedroom in the 1970s that my mom made a type of blue plastic raffia – almost exactly in the same shape as the ones in the photos. I think they were popular in the 1970s. I like the stripes she has added in.
