When it comes down to it, The Standard in Miami has a rather simple design.
Very 70s (which I love), its centered around the pool, the plant-life and the bay where motor-boats pass by in all their glory.
What’s so great actually, is that in like 30 seconds you feel right at home. That’s definitely what I love most about it. That and the spa (so great), the delicious restaurant and the potential yoga classes, none of which I attended, of course (except for that one I got burnt in a while back).

Très très belle déco effectivement, on a envie de se s’allonger sur un matelas, de regarder au loin, de déguster une délicieuse douceur, vite vite les vacances et le soleil !!!

love it! my family always goes to Ft. Lauderdale (about 40 minutes south of Miami) so I’ve never needed a hotel there…but this looks worth it!

Au standard il y a 10 jours en arrivant à Miami… À South Beach ces jours-ci au retour de notre trip Floridien… On a longtemps hésité à retourner au Standard au lieu de South Beach et on regrette!!! On s’est senti très très bien dans cet hôtel. Merci pour les jolies photos on s’y croit ! Et que dire du breakfast dans le joli patio…
I am just about to book a spa day as a delayed anniversary celebration! This looks fab, just up my street!! Whis you could send this place to London please! Well a couples thai massage and great Italian food must do for now :)

I don’t know if it’s really representative or not, but in my mind this place represents the way people live there: Drinking cocktails in the pool, taking yoga classes and enjoying the hype vibe at the bar!
So is everything like that in Miami??

Les lampions le soir illumine la baie c’est magique. Seul bémol, une voyante vraiment pas douée dans le hall…Expérience étrange.

Cet endroit est magnifique. Sobre et élégant (oui bon désolée, je crois que dans TOUS mes com chez toi j’utilise le mot élégant ou classe, mais bon je n’y peux rien si tu ne nous montres que des gens / endroits / style hyper claaaaaaaaaaasse ;-)).

Went there last year and loved the 70’s motel mood. Furniture is very simple yet comfortable and rooms got an homely feeling. I was not impress by Miami, definitely not my type but keep a lovely memory from my stay at the Standard. Thinking about going back soon and your pics makes me want to go there asap. Thanks!

En même temps… Un hôtel où les moins de 14 ans sont interdits, ça me dérange toujours un peu. Surtout pour 250 € la nuit dans la plus petite des chambres.
Ne dérangeons pas les riches avec les cris des enfants, surtout !

Tellement cool cet hôtel ! La musique sous l’eau, le Spa, le petit déj… J’y ai passé quelques jours ( juste avant toi), c’est un endroit vraiment à part. Et tes photos sont beaucoup mieux que les miennes : )
