Day to Night: The Black Dress

Dressed in black head-to-toe might not call to everyone’s sensibilities – but there’s something about the consistency of an ensemble noir. Especially one like the black dress that can be taken from the waking hours of sunlight to the moody hues of dusk.
Jessica could be a starlet of days past with her fair skin and eyes that glitter for the silver screen, yet even this vintage-esque evening dress from Rochas can be turned (quite literally reversed) to a more modern version of itself.
For day – A nod to downtown and all its roughness, the washed denim jacket with silver rings adorned makes for the perfect anecdote to an otherwise extremely femme look. A strong silver earring to match.
For night – Flip the dress around and add a flowing, cinematic silk scarf to trail behind you as you glide past the masses at home still sorting out what to wear to dinner. A colorful sequined pouch and earring pair perfectly to pack that little extra punch.
A dress can be just as versatile as a suit when you put your mind to it. Ease in dressing might actually start with a dress!
