Rich, decadent suede pieces… They were all over the runways for spring. But one of the best parts, besides the myriad of colors suede comes in, is that you can really find great vintage pieces. So, we wanted to show you a few ideas on our friend Anna, who herself has many suede garments hanging in the closet.
I love the idea of mixing a suede jacket or skirt with modern, everyday pieces like denim. Of course, when you find a pair of red suede pants (Anna got hers on Etsy) you can’t go wrong with a bit of retro throw back. I mean, Valentine’s Day might be over, but pink and red always go together.
Some of our favorite vintage stores are Selima, Narnia, Stella Dallas, Resurrection, and ebay.com. What are yours?
Red Suede Pant, Vintage on Etsy; Striped Turtleneck, Edith A. Miller; Coat, Zara; Shoes, Dieppa Restrepo.
Tan Suede Skirt, Vintage Christian Dior at Selima; Top, Topshop; Tights, Wolford; Shoes, Laurence Dacade.
Brown Suede Jacket, Vintage Balenciaga at Selima; Denim Shirt, Everlane; Jeans, Re/Dun; Shoes, Laurence Dacade.
Cette jupe est complètement dingue !

That fringe skirt is amazing – Love it! And the red pants…! Totally cursing myself for giving away a beautiful suede pencil skirt a few years back and then thinking I still had it, to only find out I made a grave mistake and error in judgement, sigh’
xx
I’m so glad suede is back. I think it’s such a luxurious material. I especially love it in charcoal and cognac.

OMG, that coat! Those trousers! Great! I am so glad that I still have a pair of suede trousers (boring black, but still) in my closet. Circa 2001-2002 ;)

a very nice collection!
Très Pocahontas des temps modernes!

Je n’aime pas le cuir, mais j’adore le daim.
Ce pantalon rouge est magnifique.
Love the suede!
Gorgeous! I love suede!

The brown Balenciaga coat is really beautiful!
But I think that the red pants would be too much (at least for myself)…
I love suede it’s so elegant with a hint of nostalgia! These photos are gorgeous, I’m majorly coveting the suede skirt :)

I´m per-suede-ed, ha! Nah, I practically live in my Isabel Marant suede boots. And I like what Edun´s Danielle Sherman cooked up for next fall. Have a look at http://www.fairaporter.com and have a lovely day (sun beams from Berlin to NYC, x)
Never knew that red suede could look so chic!
