I have always been a lover of anything that comes from my Nana’s closet, and this admiration extends collectively to the wiser, more mature ladies of the world. There is so much to learn from our mothers, grandmothers, aunts, and mentors – they have invaluable life experience. The Silver Women is a new platform sharing stories, lessons, and ideas from wise women around the world, like Helen Mirren, Sade, and Audrey Hepburn (a few of my personal favorites). Aging is a privilege and I want nothing more than to learn from the women who have and are doing it with grace and openness.
Beautiful, talented, great women !
Thanks for the discovery, it is a beautiful account, so inspiring!
You are really onto something here. Wonderful site, and I have a few women to add to your list. Millicent Rogers. Claudette Colbert. Sao Schlumberger. Jacqueline de Ribes. I wrote the biography of Rogers (Searching for Beauty) and have a new book, Diving for Starfish–The Jeweler, The Actress, The Heiress, and One of the World’s Most Alluring Pieces of Jewelry coming from St. Martin’s in February 2018. There is much to learn from some of these wonderful women. http://www.cherieburns.com
