Two’s company, three’s a crowd…
And four is beauty magic?
That’s the idea behind this concealer quad from & Other Stories (available in September), which is one of the more genius beauty products I’ve seen. Basically, there are four different tones of concealer – yellow, green, orange, and lilac. Each is used as coverage for different shades you might want to camouflage, so you don’t have to carry around multiple concealer sticks… Or just hope that one shade of concealer will rule cover them all. (Cue: Lord of the Rings soundtrack)
Yellow will hide darker complexion issues.
Orange blends away dark circles, i.e. those dark DARK bags under my eyes.
Green will take away redness (and is great for acne!)
Purple brightens more dull areas of skin.
So maybe this is what I would take with me if I had to take only ONE beauty essential with me to a desert island… Or just a small bag around the city. It’s a cool way to think about approaching skin coverage and evening out skin tone, no?

This is a beauty product I could get behind. How was the quality of each concealer? How is it applied/Does it come with mini brushes? How much does the quad cost?
Ha cool, j’adore & Other Stories et leur produits ! Efficace et le packaging (oui je sais c’est pas le souci principal) est juste génial … Je ne me suis pas encore trop penchée sur le maquillage, mais ça a l’air plutôt sympa et pratique ce ptit truc :)

Pour celles qui n’auraient pas accès aux produits & Other Stories, sachez qu’au Québec le PortFolio de Lise Watier est un excellent produit qui contient exactement 4 couleurs semblables à ceux présentés ici. Pour moi qui l’utilse depuis plusieurs années, ça fait une jolie différence pour les défauts de tous genres…

Cette palette est parfaite! Cela fait un an que je l’utilise et je ne peux plus m’en passer, elle est géniale, hyper compacte et ne file pas au long de la journée!!
