Hold up. How cool is this eyeliner?!!
It’s the beauty look from the Anthony Vaccarello show in Paris, and it’s one of my favorites of the season. The first thing I thought of when I saw this was Ziggy Stardust (and I love Bowie – Labyrinth is one of my all time favorite movies!), but then I realized it’s much more subtle than that.
They wanted to create a tattoo look, so layered powder over the blue eyeliner to make it matte. The design was created by starting the outline of a star, but never quite completing it – giving it a more modern interpretation.
And I love how they complemented such a unique geometric design with a pared back, natural base and no mascara. It makes it a look that might even work in real life – and I hope so, since I really want to try it…
Do you like it, or do you think it’s too much? I think it’s the perfect balance, and such a beautiful look…

Like it, but not for everyday life.. maybe to attend a glamorous party with a glamourous girlfriend, or to your own birthday (everything is allowed on that day!) – special occasion requested. Great idea anyway, to show just the beginning of a star..

Love this but I am not sure I could pull it off, even at a night out at the coolest place, even with my colest friends around, even with the coolest drinks in my hand. Takes a bit more gut than what I have. However, I would compliment it on another person without a second thought.
