Spring at Home
8 years ago by
Now that it’s finally warming up in NYC, here are a few things I’m planning to pick up to make my home/life feel more on-season and less “winter is coming.”
A seagrass tote from Nate Burkus’ new Target collection to carry to the farmers market.
One of every plant from The Sill. They do say that more plants in the home = more oxygen. My apartment is slowly turning into a jungle.
This pink couch from Anthropologie. (Ok, more of a long term investment but ever since we published Brook’s style story I’ve been feeling like this rosy hue would add a lot of summer-sexy to my place…maybe?)
Rose scented candles. So it smells like Grasse all the time.
A portable radio for jamming on the stoop with a glass of rosé.
White linen sheets for comfortable sleeping.
These porcelain ice cream cones for making sundaes.
Love it!

i don’t have so much natural light. i wonder what kind of plants can survive that kind of situation? … :)

immense coup de cœur pour le canapé… déception tout aussi immense… Il n est deja plus disponible!
Thank god for self control because otherwise my house would have looked like a jungle as well. I love plants! They’re such an easy way to add some colour and life to your home.

vegetables = more carbon dioxide in total darkness. That is the reason why It is inadvisable to put vegetables in a bedroom.
Bon choix d’articles! J’adore tous les linges de maison en lin, surtout le lin blanc et c’est ce que j’aime le plus sur vos choix. Ensuite les pots de plantes dans la maison car moi aussi je suit très fan des plantes d’intérieur
Ah, the story makes me want all of them! :)
Especially the white crisp bed linen. And the basket. And the sofa. :)

The image at the top, I believe from the Del Vals’ gorgeous Paris apartment??, has been my desktop background since it first ran… it calms me everyday at work!
Très bonne idée pour l’été de mettre des plantes dans l’appart ! Moi j’ai opté pour des petites plantes sur le rebord des fenetres :)
