To answer a question a lot of you asked, the apps I use to write on my iPad are Noteshelf (a type of “diary”) and Procreate (more like a light version of Photoshop).

Thank you for your comments on yesterday’s post, I spent my whole day crashing my non-data plan (I am in London) to read them.

Not only was I very touched by them, but a lot of you also told me about yourselves, where you live, how you read the blog… It’s so great to get to know you a little better !

After a few years picturing the ultra-power-sexy woman, playing it fast & hard, today the Balmain woman is calm, at home, simply sublime, intimately Parisian, wearing the most amazing outfits with an ideal dose of detachment. I just love it.

I usually like Topshop’s ads. Alasdair McLellan shoots them most of the time and he’s one of my favorite photographers.

I love what they borrow from street style (unknown models, natural images and light, taken outside) and I love how they put together a certain inspired style in every photo.

Really, it has to be hell to have to come up with good ads for bags every season and Mulberry does it so well.

I love the “Where the Wild Things are” inspired ad from this season.
I’m not going to get into the symbolism of the ad… This is a mini-post after all, but I bet it feels great falling into the plush arms of this giant monster.

This week, I’ll be posting my favorite ads from the back-to-school season. And I HAVE to start by declaring my eternal love for Dolce & Gabbana ads.

Season after season after season of sublime advertising, happy and dramatic, full of humor, so Italian… A most fantastic saga.

And I love the casting this season with one of my favorite models, the amazing Bianca Balti (to me, she’s the most beautiful of all!) and of course, Monica Bellucci, and a new-comer I love named Bianca…
