I bought a crystal!
A glittery one the size of my thumbnail!!! Is that ridiculous? I saw an assortment of sizes displayed in front of the very kind man behind the counter, I asked what they were, and then I asked how much for the little one… $5 ! I’ll take it!
I merely went to the shop to get a new plant (as I had managed to kill both of my pre-existing green friends) and wound up with a crystal meant to ignite five of my chakras and help with manifesting what you want. On a Saturday afternoon I couldn’t see a reason not to indulge in my mystical side. So I said yes, and whether it was the crystal manifesting the interesting interactions I had had over my weekend or just destiny – I’m happy to believe the former.
It had me thinking though, are we more willing to invest in ideas like healing stones only when we know we need healing? Are there some unexpected things you have bought in times of need?
so beautiful

Where can I find one? :)

Yes when we feel more vulnerable, we may lose our brain and do very silly things. But for 5 dollars, it’s no big deal.
You’re right.
It is beautiful!

I work in a crystal shop and you’d be amazed how often someone will come in, browse around the crystals and then choose the one that they are most attracted to. When they ask about the properties of the one they have picked (or which picked them?) it invariably turns out to be just what they needed at that time. Ah, the mystical enchanting world of crystals…..what’s not to love.????
Hello Brie,
In times of need I’m always buying a lot of books on self development. Carol Dweck’s “Mindset” was up to today the best one I’ve bought. It gave me a whole new perception of life and helped me reconsider failing as a positive and necessary step to success and growth. You can check her Ted talk here, it will give you a glimpse of her theory : https://www.ted.com/talks/carol_dweck_the_power_of_believing_that_you_can_improve?language=en

It’s always the way – you go out to buy ONE thing and come home with something else, plus more – this happens a lot when I hit Selfridges….whoops
hahahahah – that’s a real love/hate scenario I think ;)

Definetly, yes!
Glad to see I am not the only one ;-)
I was thinking for last 2 days should I buy a crystal necklace or not? After seeing your post I ordered a clear one. I’m not sure if I believe in its magic but still it brings a bit of a sparkle and beauty into my life!
