Face Cleanse

I don’t know about you, but I feel like my skin has really been feeling the effects of stress lately. Call it a combination of a busy work schedule, the election, and the harsh winter that’s starting to settle in, but my face has been more difficult than I was as a rebellious teenager (and that’s saying a lot). I do my best to treat it well and have developed a pretty solid routine with a rotation of beauty products I’ve been lucky enough to try through work. I’ve been cycling through 3 face cleansers throughout the week – not because I have any specific, science backed method, but because they’re all so effective, natural (something I’ve really been into recently) and beautifully designed (by rad humans, none the less!).
Here are the top 3:
1. Pestle and Mortar Erase and Renew – There’s something about a double cleansing system that is so luxurious and makes you feel so CLEAN. These creamy cleansers are created by a husband and wife duo who have really nailed the quality ingredients + chic design thing.
2. Linné Purify Face Wash – Linné’s founder Jenna believes in feeding your skin in the same way you feed your body – wholesome and naturally. This green cleanser feels like a (slightly exfoliating) smoothie for your face (seriously, read the ingredients, you could probably eat it).
3. Pai’s Camellia & Rose Gentle Hydrating Cleanser – All of Pai’s products have a way of feeling simple – like they’ve stripped everything down and only left the essentials. This cleanser is super gentle and (unsurprisingly) hydrating.
Have you tried any of these cleansers? What kind of face wash do you find works best to keep your skin happy and hydrated?
I don’t use cleansers, my skin doesn’t like it (gets really dry((), the only thing that works for me is charcoal soap for faces! Great stuff!!!
I have tried Pai and like it a lot! their rose oil is also fabulous

I’ve tried Pai products. I thought they sounded so lovely and natural! Well I guess they were TOO natural for me, because I broke out in an allergic reaction on my eyelid after using these products! Perhaps it was a total coincidence, but I have never had this happen from skincare products before, and I do have seasonal allergies….who knows if there is a connection. I was really bummed it didn’t work out. I still haven’t been able to find a natural line that works for me.
Hi Katie, we wanted to get in touch to say how sorry we were that the products didn’t work out for you.
Pai has a 30 day satisfaction guarantee if you do wish to return your product for a full refund or exchange. We also have a great team of skin experts who specialise in sensitive skin concerns and can point you in the right direction with alternative products and samples to patch test first. Pai x
I recently tried the Pai cleanser and I love it! It calms my skin like nothing else, I’m prone to redness, and leaves it so soft I can’t stop stroking my face. Think I’ve found the one after years of trying mountains of products.
Never tried those products, but the Calendula Deep Cleansing Foaming Face Wash, from Kiehls, is very effective cleanser, I feel my skin instantly refreshed and cleaned. Just love it.
I use the cleanser Boréade Crème Lavante from Noviderm. An amazing natural product that leaves my skin perfectly clean and hydrated. I’m addicted.
Je suis assez fan des produits Garancia et plutôt facilement allergique.
Ma routine est mon éternel savon doux liquide Clinique, et l’eau micellaire à la rose de Garancia qui a une odeur de fous…..
Belles fêtes à tous
