Best Runways of Fashion Week

Ok, so we really love fashion shows for the clothes, but there are so many elements that go into creating the perfect production – including the actual runway…
We loved so many of the different runway ideas so far this season (and we know Paris is going to bring even more cool ones!!). Proenza Schouler’s takeover of the Whitney Museum in New York was incredible – the museum is moving, so the entire venue was empty and acted as an beautiful and overwhelming blank canvas.
One of the strangest was Mary Katrantzou’s runway of pink foam pack material, which gave the show an extra feeling of tactility. And then there was Tommy Hilfiger, which really carried the sportswear theme throughout They transformed the Park Avenue Armory in New York into a football stadium, and there were even model trading cards with sports team nicknames – Binx Walton was “High Jinx”…
We’re just waiting for our invite to an edible chocolate runway ;)

Tommy Hilfiger était juste fou !! J’adore quand les défilés s’approprient des lieux d’art (comme Topshop à la Tate Britain), ça rend la mode encore plus éternelle je trouve !

C’est super que les organisateurs de défilé se cassent la tête pour trouver et monter des idées comme ça ^^ Bon des fois c’est un peu too much et pas forcément réussi. Et l’épuré a son charme … bon en fait faut voir au cas par cas !
