It is no secret that Claire Thomson Jonville is one of our favorites to feature on the site. We are still swooning over this post.

On top of being a mom to two adorable kids, Claire is a a brand consultant, stylist and creative director working with luxury brands and new talents. She is the editorial director at i-D France and has her own agency, CTJ Creative.

Her kids got the fashion bug as her daughter and son just shot a Polo Ralph Lauren campaign, and her daughter is the new face of Bonpoint!

It looks like you have a mini me with your daughter in a matching leopard print coat! Does she mimic you a lot in terms of her style, or have you noticed as she gets older, she has her own opinion on how she wants to dress?

Both my children love feeling good with their clothes, we dress for our moods and the children are really attuned to that. My daughter particularly likes to lay out looks on the floor, and puts a lot of consideration into what she wears. She really loves it. It’s a whole process getting them both dressed in the morning.

During lockdown we dressed as different characters every single day, astronauts, superheros, dancers… we were definitely explorers and adventurers for a solid few days, with binoculars and notebooks and safari jackets. I guess it’s in their DNA, they’ve grown up on photo shoots and around my creative work.

What do you think fashion is going look like after lockdown?

Personally I can’t wait to wear heels and dresses. I’ll still wear my sneakers and masculine looks in the day, Im loving pulling out my suits and some color for my daily work looks at the moment, but I can definitely see myself getting more glam in the evening and having fun with that.

Tell us about this car!

I do love cars. This E-type Jaguar is one of my favorites. I’m obsessed with driving in the countryside outside of Paris, turning up the music loud and singing with my children. It’s such a mood booster.

What outfit have you worn the most this past year?

CDLP men’s pjs in navy and black. The Frankie Shop tracksuit in cream. My JJJJound grey marl sweatsuit I’m obsessed with. Champion sport socks with Kith x Birkenstock navy fur lined slides.

Favorite thing about being a mom?

Everything. I feel so lucky every single day. My children are so fun to be around. People say, they grow up too quickly… I just try to appreciate every age and I’m so proud of them both.
