A rainbow is a meteorological phenomenon , an optical illusion caused by water droplets – it is also, quite beautiful! It’s no surprise designers have taken inspiration from them for centuries, emblazoning multi-colored arcs and gradations on everything from the heel of a stacked sandal to a colorful plaid rendition on a clutch.
Since April brings showers, it feels like the time to show you a few of our favorite rainbow renditions, hopefully with a bit of gold at the end and Perhaps in the form of another studio favorite, gold accessories!
Colorful accessories are sort of the perfect anecdote for any drear outfit – something to bring a bit of gaiety to your day. How will you sport this sometimes 70’s trend?

I just saw a gorgeous 180 degree rainbow yesterday. Fine drizzle from one side of the mountain and blazing sunshine from across the plain.
Those shoes look like something a person could DIY, if Ferragamo were out of the budget.
I had a rainbow sticker on the rear windshield of my first car. It seemed like a little bit of happiness.
