I talked to you already about my love of the mix and match earring, and along with that comes a love of the statement earring. This one is from Céline and it’s definitely the strongest one from this season. I love it worn alone and with a super simple top so it really makes a statement. Just be prepared for that inevitable, “Hey miss, I think you lost an earring!”

I agree with you that this earring is impressive, no need for any other jewelry! As so many other of your photos this one looks as striking as a painting :)

She looks good and her sweater is great. xaxa

Forget the earring – where can I find that incredible sweater?
Ditto!

This is one of those instances where I wouldn’t think I was cool enough to comment on it…missing an earring? Don’t care, it looks soooo cool.

What’s the brand of this sweater please?
Super joli. But not not heavy :-)?

I never wear earrings but I love the idea of mis-matching them!

I used to have these cute earrings when I was in college it was like one was a lipstick and the other a purse. I like this, but I am not sure I would be able to handle everyone mentioning my earring all evening.
I love the earring and the idea of mix and matching.

Love your blog!
I’m posting looks from Los Angeles and accessories:

I’m not an earring person at all, I wore them like four months in my life. Lately, I’ve been considering getting my ears pierced again, although I know I’d wear earring more conservatively than you (diamond studs! pearls! HOOPS!).
Btw I really like your idea making an editorial photoshoot for a blog, it’s really been missing. I only wish you’d post all the photos at once. I think that’s what makes editorials interesting – they tell a story. So it would be great to see a editorial fashion story on your blog :)
I wrote a post about them, too, because I absolutely love this idea! I worn a single statement (DIY’ed) earring back in the early 1990s and it made me feel so good! So it’s a huge yes from me (and I also really-really love the sweater on this photo… so luxurious…) x
The sweater is great! Details, please!
I remember doing this in college in the 80s and then in the 90s. Wow! It’s back. Although prettier! x

Stunning
such a pretty look – but very heavy earrings pull the lobes down and it’s not attractive as a woman ages..
Wonderful,classy and adorable!

Omg! The sweater is just amazing! Who makes it?
So, so, so stunning – all those warm mushroom shades, and her steady gaze!
I’d wear something tiny in the other ear – like one teeny, teeny plain pearl stud or a plain teeny, teeny onyx or rough black diamond stud in in plain gold bezel setting – just because I like earrings in both my ears, but mismatched. And it stops the inevitable but well-intentioned, “Hey – you’ve lost an earring”.
That earring (worn with that sweater) is amazing! It looks like it’s unbelievably heavy, but – as someone else noticed – Alana’s ear lobe isn’t even weighed down: can one of the Garance Studio team members please confirm for us, is it possible this earring is actually super-lightweight and comfortable to wear?
I keep checking back here hoping someone at the Studio will list who the sweater is by. Thanks!
The earring is outstanding!…but why no info on the terrific sweater?
Great photo portrait… stunning piece of jewel!
Love the earring! REALLY love the sweater too……. Who makes it?
Statement earrings are pretty underrated! Would love to see them crop up more on the streets x
agree with you
