We’ve already debated whether or not you should match your shoes to your bag, but what about matching jewelry?
I saw these cool minimal bracelets by Uncommon Matters on Miyuki Uesugi during fashion week. I really like the idea of wearing similar bracelets on each arm, it’s kind of a tough meets chic look. They balance each other pefectly and those gold rings don’t hurt either :)

Si assortir chaussures et sac me laisse TRES sceptique, là par contre je dis oui et re-oui ! Question bijoux, je suis très minimaliste, et lorsqu’il m’arrive d’en porter, c’est toujours fin et doré (et donc, assortis).

I love this look! Personally, I think it depends on the bracelets. I probably wouldn’t wear thick cuffs on both arms. You just need to experiment I think. I prefer to match similar items, rather than having the exact same bracelet on both wrists.

I love to co-ordinate my jewellery, rather than match it exactly but I do love a pair of cuffs. I wasted years and years being very conservative with jewellery (pearl studs, row of pearls) then I realised that what suits me is not delicate (though I am not very tall, I have strong features). So now I choose things that could have come from the burial mound of a barbarian queen, somewhere between jewellery & armour. I love it & get compliments all the time, from men & women (Actually one pair of earrings I have are replicas of neolithic earrings from the Metropolitan Museum). It’s more important to find what suits you than to follow fashion

Very cool bracelets. Nice sleeve and cuff on the outfit too. I gave up trying to match my jewelry. My wedding rings are gold but my favorite pair of earrings are silver.

I love this photo, however I have the feeling that the reality of wearing bracelets over super long sleeves would quickly drive me mad! I like some matching jewelry–I have several sets of big bangles in wood and resin that I like to wear together. Or I’ll wear one thick coral red cuff-width bracelet on one wrist and a slimmer version with my watch on the other arm.
Simply but cool jewelry is so difficult to find nowadays, browsing around different online shops and they are always selling chunky pieces. So thanks for introducing us Uncommon Matters!

Je ne porte que très rarement de bijoux (à part l’alliance de ma grand mère tjs à mon doigt) mais il m’arrive de temps en temps de porter haut sur l’avant bras deux gros bracelets symétriques dorés. Pour moi, ce sont comme de jolies menottes, je mets dedans tout ce qui m’enchaîne et je le sublime: n’est pas là toujours le sens des bijoux? Des liens, des attaches, des rappels?
