We’re sharing another Postcard from Home this Monday morning from the lovely and talented Jamie Beck who is quarantined in France with her family.
Name: Jamie Beck
Place of quarantine: Apt en Luberon, located in Provence, in the South of France.
Quaranteam: My husband Kevin Burg and our one year old daughter Eloise.
Last thing you ate: Two eggs over easy on the local baker’s toast.
Favorite dance song: Every night after we put the baby to bed we listen to Lost Boy by Ruth B.,have a glass of wine and take a deep breath. It’s our adult quarantine dance, lol.
Last thing you watched: Smart History on YouTube.
Last thing you read: The dust jacket to Recollections of a Picture Dealer before going back to The Very Hungry Caterpillar for the 10,000th time.
First thing you want to do when this is all over: Go on a date with my husband not at home.
An indulgence you give yourself most days: Happy Hour.
Item of clothing most worn: Linen apron wrapped skirt, comfortable and easy!
Workout choice or lack thereof: Running up and down four flights of stairs with a baby.
Food most consumed: Cheese… it’s France.
New quarantine hobby or lack thereof: Trying to remember what day of the week it is.
Charity you are supporting: Foundation for Contemporary Arts // 10% of all proceeds from #IsolationCreation, which is an artwork series I am creating daily while in quarantine, will go to the Foundation for Contemporary Arts’s Emergency Artist Relief Fund to support other artists impacted by COVID-19.
Loving Jamie Beck’s #isolationcreation project, checking out her latest artwork everyone morning has been a bright spot in my day during this strange time. She’s now up to day fifty one – well done!
