Bonjour Garance, je n’ai pas posté hier au vu du nombre de commentaire, mais je suis une fidèle lectrice depuis tes débuts. Chaque jour je te lis et c’est une vraie réjouissance tu es un peu comme une copine virtuelle mais évidemment l’echange n’est que dans un sens, car au final c’est toi qui donne par ta créativité, ton talent, ton inspiration, ton travail et surtout ta sincérité. Je crois ce qui me touche le plus c’est ta sensibilité, et le fait de partager ça avec nous ça montre ta sincérité, et pour moi ça m’apporte beaucoup, ça permet de prendre du recul. Bref tout ça pour dire que j’aime beaucoup ton travail et la personne qu’il y a derrière. Et ce clip (je trouve que ça fait comme un clip) d’AdR est plannant, une sorte de parenthèse magique au milieu de l’euphorie fashion

OMG, Garance! To be honest, I wasn’t so sure about the videos. I think you are a great writer, even better than illustrator or photographer. There is something really natural, fun and « true » in the way you write. But this is awesome! I think you are providing added value to your blog. Nowadays streetstyle seems so staged… Videos give you, in some cases, a better view. ADR sometimes looks like a cartoon but here I just see a beautiful woman having fun. So, smart move!
Congrats to the team! (Specially to the person in charge of picking up the music)

you know what is amazing? your new platform just made something for me: i’d never seen anna moving, just standing, posing, statue. and i would never (like i am not that into fashion world) google a video about anna. but you do this. make me feel she is just as human as me. dancing, so blissfully dancing.
i loved it. keep doing those videos. they usually make me happier.

I agree. We’ve gotten so used to seeing her posing for photos and these 53 seconds of her enjoying herself we’re more than refreshing.
I also agree on the musician credit for obvious reasons. Sometimes I find myself stumbling for my phone trying to Shazam the respective song!
J’ai lu attentivement ton billet sur les changements opérés sur le blog. Tout ce que j’ai à dire, étant une lectrice très assidue tes débuts sur le web, c’est que j’adore ce mix de tout. C’est assez énervant de voir que tu touches à tout avec brio. Honnêtement si une chose ou une autre était moins plaisante sur ce blog j’aurais certainement écrit quelque chose du genre : pas mal, mais je préfère te voir faire ce que tu fais d’habitude.
Bien au contraire, c’est hyper interactif, moderne, inovateur, bien pensé, à sa place et captivant. Je n’ai pas manqué une seule de tes vidéos sur le blog, la preuve qu’il faut absolument continuer. Et puis, tu es la meilleure sur la toile, un point c’est tout. Depuis le début et pour longtemps je l’espère. En tout cas tu es sur la page des Top Sites de mon Mac, juste derrière Gmail et Facebook ahah
Je suis encore jeune, mais j’espère d’ici 10 ans être autant épanouie que toi dans mon futur job. Tu en fais rêver plus d’un. Et quand on vend du rêve il faut à tout prix continuer le plus loin possible !

Very True. Do mention the music credits/artistes. The scores in your vids are ever so appropriate that I think they just lift that piece you’ve created and take it to some other place and who knows it gets colored in oh- so -many shades for your readers.
PS: This video made me stop thinking about anything else, and I was just listening to that music and watching Anna move. And those LIGHTS!! They transported me to some other place, some other time that I do not yet know of but I know it from my dreams.

I just had the chance to go your previous posts today. The honest account about the evolution of your blog from illustration to photos and more recently, videos captured my attention. Here’s what I love about your blog. 1) your warmth and sincerity shine through on every post 2) you’re frank and tell it as it is. No airs and graces 3) you’re constantly evolving and challenging yourself to be better and more innovative 4) you’re not afraid to take chances and risk negative feedback 5) you read every single comment despite the fact that they often run in hundreds (no idea how you do that along with work/blogging and everything else). These are lessons that I would like to incorporate into my own life and blog.
p.s. I was rather bummed missing Caroline Issa at the Matches Fashion party recently. I was rather looking forward to meeting her in person.

Another good thing about your videos, Garance – they bring out the personality of the person in front of the camera. Many of these street style stars sometimes are very unapproachable (or so it seems to me) but when you see them moving and talking I realize that they are just like you and me. Thanks again for doing this!
