Le shopping vintage, en plus d’être un mode de consommation bon marché et responsable, permet de trouver les pièces les plus uniques : celles qui étaient si chics sur votre grand-mère, qui seront chics sur vous ET sur votre fille, dans 20 ans. Mais parfois, acheter vintage, c’est un peu compliqué, il y a trop de choses au même endroit on a du mal à dénicher la perle rare. C’est pour ça que j’adore suivre les comptes Instagram avec de jolies sélections vintage comme celui de @persephonevint. Silhouettes simples et élégamment pensées, visuels poétiques. Bref, pour de super trouvailles vintage sur Instagram, suivez @persephonevint !

When my mom died, I went through her things and gave away lots of her clothes from the ’50s. Sadly, I could have fit into them a few years ago but not now. So I wanted them to get a new home. What really hit me was the quality. Finished hems. Beautiful tabs and pleats and buttons. Many pieces she made herself by hand, but others were store-bought but still of fine quality. I highly recommend vintage, not just for clothes but also for furniture, if you care about quality and the environment.
