Here’s the last New York episode of Pardon My French!
Take a look, there’s a lot going on. Everything from my ginger tea with Diane Von Furstenberg to a run-in with Julianne Moore, some lunch with friends in there and tons, tons, tooooooons of fashion. You’ll understand right away why we called this episode, “Hey Ladies!” :-)

Oh My God, OMG, ce troisième volet est de loin de loin mon préféré!!! Tu fais monter la tension à son paroxyme!
Je suis transportée, émerveillée, admirative et surtout en vie !
Merci de nous fais vivre avec toi ces moments les plus forts de la fashion week, ceux qui nous emmènent au coeur de l’action, à table avec toutes tes copines si cools, si pro, si fashionable (je suis fan de Caroline, mais ça tu le sais déjà),
Ensuite, wouw, tu nous fais fondre avec toi devant Miss Moore. Entre deux images, nous effleurons la grande Anna Wintour…frisson et respect, j’en ai la chair de poule. Nous recevons les conseils de Diane comme si elle était juste assise en face de nous. Quel charme, quelle élégance, quelle vivacité d’esprit.
Quand je rêve de la fashion week, c’est comme ça que je l’imagine,..l’expérience humaine, les rencontres extraordinaires, les réflexions au sommet sur les grandes tendance, les debriefs pointus, passionnés et à la fois ludiques, les backstages…la tension, la créativité, la magie, le tourbillon, la fatigue, tout ça mélangé….au service d’une passion que nous partageons toutes: La Mode!

J’adore ces petits films. Les filles et les femmes y sont belles avec tous leurs (petits) défauts, et ce qu’elles ont de vivant et de pas toujours parfait me les rend plus proches de moi.
Même Julianne Moore dont la peau irradie pourtant : on pourrait se dire tiens elle pourrait avoir les dents plus blanches ou se tenir plus droite et en fait, dès qu’elle apparaît à l’écran, on est complètement subjugué. Même DVF, avec sa classe et son assurance : je vois ses petites rides qui bougent sur son beau visage et ça la rend à la fois moins belle que sur une image très léchée et sophistiquée et infiniment plus belle parce que plus forte, plus vraie et plus vivante.
ça me donne envie de m’aimer, de prendre soin de moi et de me tenir droite parce que c’est ici et maintenant qu’on a le droit d’être belles.
Ouille, vous voyez un peu quel enthousiasme et quel lyrisme vos images suscitent chez moi !!!

Ces petits films sont vraiment une bouffée de fraîcheur en cette fin d’hiver! C’est beau de vous voir, les filles, en train de discuter en dégustant ces divines pâtisseries, ça donne carrément envie de vous rejoindre! DVF est fabuleuse, et que dire de Julianne Moore, ça doit être vraiment inspirant de rencontrer des femmes comme ces deux là, personnellement, je sais que je ferais une folle de moi en balbutiant des platitudes, tellement je serais intimidée!

I am sitting in my bed, feeling a little cold is coming up my throat. Then I was so happy to see your new video. And gess what was already in my cup? Yes, hot gingerwater, lemon and honey. I was so excited that I nearly dropped everything on my blanket. DVF is so right. This tea tastes great and helps a lot.

This was my favorite video so far! I loved ‘meeting’ all of the people you talk to in between shows and what you did backstage. You get a better sense of what fashion week feels like through the eyes of other people i.e Caroline’s wardrobe planning … and hearing about the celebrities you met was exciting!
I am looking forward to hearing about Paris, the most fantastic fashion week of them all….

A lors j’adore les petits film fashion week et en plus j’adore que ce soit en anglais et je me rend compte que je suis presque bilingue mais bilingue seulement quand l’anglais est avec un accent francais fort sympathique , bravo car on a effectivement envie d’aller boire un cafe ou une margaritaa avec vous …bref j’adore trainer sur votre blog et m’impregner de toutes ces tendances ..

Tiens, justement depuis quelques temps je me pose la même question à propos su stress à assister à un show, c’est un peu comme un chien que se mord la queue : on vient regarder mais en même temps on se fait voir… Peut-on vraiment apprécier les collections lorsqu’on est dans le front-row ? La vision de cette situation chez Maria Sharapova m’enchante. Ça serai super d”en savoir plus sur elle.
Je profite aussi pour te dire que tu es si belle lorsque tu parles, et c’est pas tout le monde qui a ce don.

I was never a huge fan of DVF. Its not like I disliked her clothes I just didn’t pay them much attention but over the last few years I have seen her in interviews and her personal style and what seems to be a real beauty within resonates with me and I’ve been one of her biggest fans ever since. She seems like such a down to earth woman woman…I really wish I could afford more of her stuff because if their is one designer I don’t mind making rich she is it! Very classy and someone to emulate for sure!

Tu n’aurais pas pu nous faire plus plaisir je pense, (j’espère que le tutoiement ne te dérange pas, mais tu offre tellement de toi dans ce blog que j’ai l’impression de te connaitre depuis des années!) Quelle idée merveilleuse de nous faire partager ton univers comme cela! Pour ceux qui n’étaient pas déjà conquis par ta fraicheur et ta spontanéité, c’est certainement chose faite. Merci mille fois de nous apporter cette vision de la mode, de la fashion week, de New York… La parfaite combinaison entre le monde du rêve et la sincérité dans les relations et les contacts entre les gens (comment ne pas se reconnaitre dans ces discussions animées entre filles, pour parler chiffons autour d’un verre?!).
Surtout ne change rien, continue à “humaniser” ce monde de la mode si souvent décrié et à vivre à 200% comme tu le fais (quitte à être “exhausted” à la fin de la journée). Prend bien soin de toi tout de même, parce que tu nous manquerais trop si tu devais t’arrêter pour cause de fatigue extrême :).
