I’ve been on a face gloss kick recently!
It gives the skin a dewy but very natural look, when you lightly apply on the cheekbones. So I was super excited when I found this combined cheek and lip glow (perfect for a small bag), but was a bit hesitant to try it… lipgloss on the cheeks? But then I remembered that sometimes Tatyana uses lipgloss on the eyes, so I tried this on the cheeks and it’s surprisingly perfect. It gives a high gloss initially but the more you rub it in, the more matte it becomes — so you can really tailor it to your look.
The one problem is that it goes twice as quick…

I remember my Mom when I was little. She would never leave the house without lipstick. And sometimes when she felt she needed a hint of red to lighten her cheeks she would put a bit of lipstick and rub it with her fingers. Sweet memories

YSL Beauté does that too, I think it’s a very French thing ! When running out of time, it’s easier to quickly apply a dash of lipstick on your cheeks and rub it in :)
You do not need a combination, this is just another invention for making money. Plain lip gloss runs very well on the cheeks. Has been used for years by makeup artists at the top of the cheekbones for beautiful shine on the face…
This looks perfect for summer. I can’t wait to give it a try. During the winter I feel like I need a little more coverage than this is going to offer.
