I’ve been looking for a grown up watch, something that screams sophistication…
… but with the ability to still have a sense of humour while wearing it. Ok maybe its just the Gifs that are bringing a bit of comedy, but I love it. Very The Gentlewoman in action. I think its one of the smartest email Gifs I’ve received and didn’t immediately avert my eyes from. Plus the watch is rather chic.
I am once again left yearning to wear a piece of Isabel Marant, this time its perfect all year round.
Available October 2014 , Isabel Marant

Oh my, Brie. How did you know? I am also looking for the perfect watch, having made do forever now with a man’s Timex. This one is perfect…. but I have a feeling beyond my budget.
I love these shoots!!

Great post!
I recently bought Hermes Cape Cod PM and I am so so so happy with it. It took me half a year of looking at different models, trying and pondering. Cape Cod is just the perfect balance between grown up and casual (Cartier Tank is only grown up…).
Very smart watch, super gifs. The most difficult detail is the watchstrap – in combination with jewellery especially goldrings. Therefore left my Braun with the nice yellow digit behind. I like it sporty AND grown up but not to heavy and masculine. And I don’t want a change every season. I ended up with an Ebel sportwave: matte steel watchstrap and steel bezel with minimal gold only on screws and crown. Wearing for years now and it still works with everything.
I stole my man’s watch- big, beautiful with intricate details…definitely a conversation starter and makes my wrist look so small…

The Cartier Tank watch is a classic. I was gifted my Mom’s first Rollex which I love so simple, classic, wear with everything and elegant.
I agree, nothing beats the Tank by Cartier.
I’ve had my Tissot for more than 10 years as an engagement present from my grandmother and I cannot fathom wearing anything else. It goes with most jewelry that I wear with it.
Junghans – Max Bill Automatic ! ;)
