Stop The Water!

Obviously, one of the first things I did when I had 5 mins in Paris was throw myself into & Other Stories, the new brand launched by H&M.
I loved (I know, I use that word a lot, but I really did love) the atmosphere and the merchandizing of the store – I thought it was very well done, and I regret a little bit that that experience doesn’t translate as well on the website.
I am not crazy about the clothes (not my style, even though I found a cool top) but I spent a ton of time at their beauty stand and brought back a ton of little stuff (overweight luggage alert!) like this eco message toothpaste. Okay well it’s been a while since I learned to stop the water… But it’s a nice change from my Crest!

Pour avoir testé les deux, je trouve au contraire l’achat sur leur site web bien plus pratique et agréable qu’en magasin!
Ce dernier est exigu, j’avais l’impression que les vêtements étaient entassés, ce qui empêche de les apprécier à la hauteur de leur (véritable) qualité. Sans compter la queue aux cabines d’essayage, qui s’avère très dissuasive…
Si la robe bleu électrique que j’avais acheté en ligne faisait pâle figure sur un cintre au fond du magasin, la réception plutôt rapide du colis fut en revanche un véritable plaisir! Et j’apprécie beaucoup les photos du site, ainsi que la facilité de navigation.
Dernier petit plus : les échantillons accompagnant le colis donnent un bel aperçu de leur ligne cosmétique!
Dans quelque temps je vais à New York. On peut-on rencontrer la grande Garance Doré.

I’m pretty good at remembering to stop the water too but I agree that toothpaste bottle is pretty cute!

Love the & Other Stories beauty department, and actually didn’t realize that “Stop The Water” was an in-house brand. So well branded! Actually headed there tomorrow to pick up a few products, they’re just the best!
Actually, “STOP THE WATER WHILE USING ME” is not by H&M or & Other Stories makers, it’s an independent german company. They just sell this at & Other Stories along with some other brands.
I’m addicted to this shop’s clothes and especially shoes, but NOT a fan of the beauty products, apart from the liquid hand soaps which come in an amazing range of scents. The other products feel like glorified supermarket products: harsh chemicals, cheap ingredients. I bought a lipstick in a lovely color but it’s horrible, just cakes up on my lips and is unwearable.
