A few months ago, Josh and I bought our first house! Like many of us, after living in the woods for 7 months during quarantine, we decided to trade in our life in the city for one in the country…well, let’s be real, it’s the suburbs. We moved up to Bedford, New York, and we can’t wait to give you a full tour of the house soon!
In the process of making the house a home, I discovered a beautiful brand called Sixpenny. It’s been such a pleasure (and a challenge) to find beautiful, comfortable and durable furniture for some of the most highly-trafficked spaces in our house, and I was so excited when we found the Gabriel sectional from Sixpenny for our media room that fits Josh, myself and our two dogs (yes, we got another one!) comfortably.
They just launched their Spring collection, which includes some new seating shapes, coffee tables and fabrics & finishes. It’s super easy to order samples and what I love is how pet friendly their fabrics are—we were brave enough to get a cream sofa, that’s how much we trust these guys! And I wouldn’t be surprised if you see a Pisces Coffee Table in the house soon…

Congratulations! It looks lovely. Elegant but comfortable. I bought my two sofas before I had dogs – one is cream leather (easy to clean) but upstairs I had to get creative with covering part of it (to keep hair off) while maintaining style. It’s so much fun decorating a home. Enjoy!
