I stumbled upon Photoville by pure accident last weekend. And wow, am I glad I did!
Located in lovely Dumbo, right below the Brooklyn Bridge, this photography exhibition is celebrating its eighth edition. It’s a supremely unique and creative space, where you’ll enjoy the works of all kinds of photographers from different backgrounds. Grab a group of friends and have an open discussion about the curated spaces–and by the way, there’s more than 90 different exhibitions!
My favorite was “Redefining Representation: The Women of the 116th Congress,” presented by The New York Times. It was so impactful being able to see a visual representation of all these powerful women who are changing the course of history as we speak.
So run, don’t walk to Photoville! I’m 100% sure you’ll leave feeling just as inspired and in awe as I did. New Yorkers, you have until September 22nd to check it out!
