To patent, or not to patent??
It’s a tricky fabrication to get right. But for Pre-Fall, I saw a few pretty cool variations that I think could be integrated into a wardrobe seamlessly. The patent black skirt is a no-brainer (and they also did it in HOT PINK!!) – happens to be super cool with a t-shirt. The jackets I think are best suited with jeans, or in the case of that neutral color-blocked coat, to be worn solamente!

Yves Saint Laurent knew the secret of making patent trench look fab unlike people at Lanvin who did those horrid Pre-Fall clothes… :( It can be worn – and what cannot – just needs the right and plenty of attitude, uniqueness and may be a gorgeous dark cherry or midnight/navy hue.
