Fashion & Technology

G was waaaaay ahead of the curve with this one.
Remember that Pardon My French from four years ago that was all about fashion and technology? Well, the theme for the Met Gala 2016 was announced this week and it is… Fashion in an Age of Technology.
So, even though we’ve been talking about it for a few years over here, it’s a conversation that’s ongoing — and that’s the case for everyone in the industry. It’s really very interesting to see how advancements in technology continue to shape how we approach fashion, and how personal style informs the evolution of devices we use and how.
But I think what I’m most interested to see is how people approach the theme. Will it be overwhelmingly futuristic? Can we expect ball gowns that light up and guests arriving on hoverboards or jetpacks? Or will it just be a hint of silver detailing, a safer approach..?
How do you think the fashion crowds will dress to theme?
Our only bet is that almost everyone is wearing an Apple watch…
I definitely feel like they go hand in hand especially now-a-days

I hope the technology aspect won’t be taken literally in a visual sense, but in a sense that technology can be used in development for more sustainable fabrics and humane production processes.
I not “into” technology processes. Nowadays fashion has no personality in my opinion.
