How is it that I can always convince myself that I need a new leather bag? Every time I find a leather company, I see one beautifully crafted clutch, backpack or weekender bag and suddenly I am transported to an alternate life where I fly to Italy every weekend with my new leather passport holder in hand and luxurious duffle over my shoulder. Someone could tell me that buying a new bag is the recipe for fulfilling all my wanderlust dreams and I would believe them.
This exact scenario of my Italy to New York commuter lifestyle and many more popped into my head the second I stepped into Cuyana’s new store on Prince Street. I had already been stalking their pop-up store front for weeks, but now everyone at Atelier Doré is ecstatic about Cuyana’s permanent location practically around the corner from the office. Their leather bags are our favorite part of the collection, but if you go, don’t forget to check out their beautiful panama hats and pajama sets.
