Autumn has arrived.
The leaves are falling, an endless selection of pumpkin products are hitting the shelves (Pumpkin Cinnamon rolls?! The whole box one will do), and air conditioners are being swiped from their windows and replaced with that crisp, cool breeze we all know and love. But with that satisfying breeze comes the warning of winter…Chapped lips! Dry skin! Runny noses! Oh my!
Every year, when the temperature drops and that chill sets in I find myself struggling with these issues and I am determined to fight back. So what better secret weapon than coconut? I am a self-proclaimed coconut queen. Coconut oils, coconut lotions, coconut serums, coconut scrubs – you name it, I probably lather myself in it. It really is that great. I have been using it for several years now. I thought the organic health food store kind would do the trick, plus it was more bang for your buck. But I was wrong. This is the purest form of coconut you could ever possibly apply to your face that actually comes in a container. p.s. I would also massage it onto the dry ends of my hair in the winter.
