I never thought I would say this, but…Barack Obama is a playlist-curating-expert. Every so often, our 44th president spills his latest “favorites”–books, movies, music– to the world. Sidenote: I’m still listening to his favorite songs from 2018, the man knows a bop when he hears one. This summer, with some help from Michelle Obama, they decided to unveil the playlist (44 songs, to be exact!) that they’ve been enjoying during these hotter months. With a mix of Rosalia, Maggie Rogers, Ella Fitzgerald, Marvin Gaye, The Black Keys and Lizzo, I mean, do I even need to say more? Enjoy the variety of jams, artists and genres (and the reminder of how lucky we once were…); we sure will be!
