Okay, my last follow button, @shoesinart, was about —you guessed it— shoes in famous pieces of art.
@alksko is kind of similar. It’s also about shoes art!
If you want a break from scrolling through perfect feeds, curated by perfectly healthy people who live in perfect homes, check Alexey Kondakov’s page. He integrates classical painting figures into mundane contemporary scenes and I find it oddly satisfying. It’s so out of place, seeing classical art on Instagram, isn’t it? Almost insulting. But seeing a classical painting woman elegantly passed out in what looks like a dodgy diner? It’s so well done that she looks like she belongs. And I secretly wish it were real.
