The Envelope Clutch

I like to think the envelope clutch came to fruition by way of stylish women on their way to the post office carrying an actual envelope.
However it came to be, since its arrival, it has become a discreet vessel that’s actually so much more than just another pouch. Rather, its sleek shape and structure allows it to claim a kind of sartorial authority. That, and it looks really, really good, no matter where you set it down. Everyone from Céline to Cos has made a variation – they couldn’t be more chic.
The only downside is ensuring your belongings are flat to keep the shape intact. And because we aren’t living in a two dimensional world, if you only bring your phone, credit card, one key (sans chain) and a flat makeup palette that has all the things for your face in one…well, I think you’ll be just fine!

I am glad I am not the only one having that problem with the envelope clutch! I always end up leaving behind my glasses behind when I wear mine!! But I concur, it’s classy and yet so simple.
