Tons of photos of me!!!! Heeeeeeelp!!!
Well, at the same time, I couldn’t not mention this Zara campaign, we’ve been shooting it since last summer.
And it’s not like you haven’t already seen it – I feel like the entire world goes to Zara – you should have seen the number of emails and texts I got saying “I saw a huge photo of you in the store!” or “I went to the Zara website and suddenly, boom, it was you!!!”
Anyway – it’s pretty cool to be able to do such a nice campaign with them since I’ve been shopping there (and talking to you about it) for ever.
It’s also such a fun collaboration. I choose clothes on the site, they send them to me, I get dressed, we take photos, and voilà.
So today, as the fourth campaign came out last week, I decided I would show you a selection of my favorite photos. They were taken in Paris, New York, LA, and even at the Studio, at my desk!

you look wonderful ,the pictures are great and you are doing absolutely honor to the clothes….(i must say that i would have love to hear for example that even if they- Zara copy everybody..i mean the designer…s…they could give back to the society in helping kids somewhere…That they will try to respect the fabrication in far away countries where they will help the families …. education …kids…….)maybe you Garance with your image will make them change…Hopefully!!!

The one in the cafe is my favorite. Great bone structure. The above comment makes sense because even those who dress in Chanel seem to have at least one piece of Zara. What’s nice is that they don’t repeat so if you spot something you like better buy it cause they tend to sell out. The quality is getting better on many items.

Très belles photos, je préfère ces photos par rapport à la précédente campagne. Ton style est simple, joli et parfait make-up surtout ! Comme quoi parfois pour un bon look, on n’a pas besoin de pleins d’accessoires ni de compliquer les choses. Good job !!

Love them all. Gosh, the real, real beautuful you really did bounce out fro m under that bun, cutie pie! Especially love the one where you’re walking along the flea display….i think that photo, while not the flashiest, shows a kind of maturity and apblomb, that the youngish/style ones don’t capture, although they are all terrific. But that photo, .It’s in that Garance way, modest and snappy and sexy, a bit of smoulder at same time…a you version with YOUR style of say, Carine! Which i love seeing on you. It really is delightful to see the likes of Carine, and say Linda Fargo, etc, be such perfect specimens of glorious,ly attractive older women…not trying to be anyone but themselves . I can say these things at 63. Everyday i get compliments on my outfits…which are fun but modest, well fitted, lovely fabrics,,but always the style and fun in the mix…..so not boring…but definitely not that tryining too hard. Since your at a crossrads fom you early days ‘….it’s nice to see you wearing some subdued but sexy, and yet ladylike in the mix. Toutes les photos sont belles mais ma preferee est celle avec la cape par-dessus un top raye, skinny jeans (gris!) et des bottines a talons : Quelle allure !

I have the black cape. It’s a great model with good quality fabric and the price is resonable.

I saw saw saw you in Zara in Paris and in their site too! You look cool like you are. I like Zara, I like the super minimal stuff, and have been shopping there since, well, always… it just goes with everything, there will always be an item you can make your own, make it fit your style, and then you see the same item on someone else in the Metro, and it’s absolutely a different style. I really like that.

Also, perhaps because I am an Irish American girl who loves French and Italian style, do I detect a slow migration toward a more American style? J’adore la dernière aussi, je l’avais déjà vue sur leur site.
Mais je suis déçue de Zara, j’ai acheté 4 ou 5 pantalons super colorés depuis cet été, et ils sont tous coupés et cousus à la schlaoui si tu me permets, avec un tissu qui s’abime super vite. Du coup je trouve le rapport qualité prix affreux et je pense aux pauvres petites mains mal payées qui ont fait ça dans des conditions pourries, bref je ne sais plus quelle position adopter avec eux. Que penses tu des questions d’éthique pour les vêtements ? Ca ne serai pas super de créer un label genre max havelaar pour s’assurer des conditions de travail des petites mains et choisir les vêtements en conséquence ?
