The Trend: A loose trench.
How I would wear it: I like it layered with something short– a mini skirt or shorts! I like the play with proportions. Remember that long coat we shot on Keisha?

C’est beau ouvert sur les photos mais moi en tout cas je mets mon trench quand il pleut donc no way de le porter ouvert…

Sur ces filles aux jambes interminables, le long trench ouvert est très classe il n’y a pas à dire, mais un long trench sur madame tout le monde qui fait moins d’1m75 ça fait de suite moins élégant, ça tasse je trouve..
Mon burberry vintage, il est passé chez la couturière, coupé au-dessus du genou ! jambes courtes, trench court. question de proportionnalité peut-être ? :)

C’est marrant : je viens de récupérer un trench trop grand et je pensais justement le porter avec une petite jupe courte :). Ca assagit la jupe (et évite de se faire siffler de dos!).
Le trench alourdit souvent la silhouette quand il est trop long, il faudrait trouver un vêtement léger comme celui de Keisha et avoir aussi ses longues jambes…

Un Trench XXL ? L’idée n’est pas mal du tout ! Moi aussi, je ne le porterai qu’avec des jupes et shorts. Finalement, ça ressemble beaucoup à une cape ! J’aime l’esprit désinvolte, relâché mais je ne me vois pas avec ça sur la plage ! Ceci dit, le trench blanc de Creatures of Wind est très beau !

Tu m’étonnes que je me souviens de Keisha…parce qu’après avoir vu cette photo, j’ai acheté ce trench et plus tard dans l’été j’ai aussi acheté le short en cuir argenté chez Maje, mais je ne me souvenais pas qu’elle portait ça ! c’est bizarre il avait du s’imprimer dans un coin de ma tête (parce que franchement un short en cuir argent, c’est pas dingue ?! et en plus je l’ai porté tout l’été !)

I’m not so sure I like this trend. it looks too loose and sloppy. half the models don’t even wear it well. but I guess it can act as a giant raincoat if it’s waterproof and serves the purpose of shielding one from rain!
