You know that vague feeling you get when summer is coming to an end? When the days start getting shorter and you can’t go out in the evenings anymore without bringing a sweater? When you start flipping through magazines wondering what kind of new girl you’ll be in the fall*?
I like this slightly melancholy and exciting time of year when you can’t believe you’re getting your scarves out already, and you end up putting bizarre things together like in Kristyna’s outfit in the photo.
And besides, I’ll never stop getting excited at the sight of a gray sweater, so…

Every season i found myself excited for the new season to come ..it’s the cycle of season that makes everything interesting ..oblige us to change ..change our clothes invent ourself ..change the food we eat..take new resolution…otherwise it would have been the same…

Les “sweater” gris….depuis que j’en ai un, je ne le quitte plus! En tenue sport ou habillé, il est vraiment devenu mon “basic”.
Par contre la culotte/maillot “nude”, j’ai de mal, car on a l’impression d’être “naket ” et ça j’assume pas, mais alors pas du tout!

This year it hit me. Every year, when I’m on holidays, I get inspired and exited about the new season. It makes me want to learn, to be a better person, it makes me want to change.. At the same time, it makes me feel so restless because this time of year is so unpredictable!

I just love the title. My grey sweater is so old that i am not sure if it lost its form or if it got into form by wearing it a lot. And living in the south of Brazil i can’t wait for spring and summer. I want to live with my doors and windows open, i can’t stand a closed house.

I’m going to Amsterdam next week (leaving from Toronto) and I can’t even explain how excited I am to break out the fall layers already! It’s going to be rainy and a little chilly and I couldn’t be happier (Layers! Scarves! Maybe even tights one day?!!?)

Oh, for the love of grey sweaters… I get so excited for the me who I will be in autumn, this time of year never finds me melancholy. Pulling out the sweaters and boots – the best footwear out there – makes me wholly excited to leave summer behind, hot, sweaty days and all. all true, except I am still mourning the fact we didnt quite get the super hot New York summer as years previous! This summer fell a little bit weak, despite some fantastic days and great fun… the scarf and light sweater made appearances sporadically throughout summer’ sigh!

Pre-Fall is the most EXCITING TIME OF MY LIFE!!! Nothing electrifies me more than the air turning crisp and boots zipping up and pumpkins popping up everywhere. I think the close of summer is fun, and it really feels like a new beginning.

it´s goosebump-chilly in the morning these days in Berlin – arrrrrgghhh – and I´ve no choice but to bring out the sweaters, even a scarf today! I do love transitional clothes, though. They let you combine the best of each season, say a light summer skirt with a heavy sweater that you couldn´t wear in summer-summer. This year, Im not at all ready to give up summer. In the past, I longed for fall – burgundy, caramel, copper, purple shades for clothes and make-up but also pumpkin pies and lattes. Now, I wanna grab summer by its ankles and never let it go.
I guess I’m just depressed vacation is over when I was starting to get a summer glow :( Why can’t I live on an island ?!
