Dance!

The fashion story I wanted to share with you for January, as it turns out, is not really a fashion story at all. It’s more of a mood. Oh, January! Presumably, it’s a month of renewal. But for me, it always takes a little while to slough off the old skin and get inspired, particularly when it comes to clothes. I told you guys last time, but my outfits tend to get a little boring in the winter. It’s just too cold! When it comes to “new year, new me,” I don’t really want to makeover my style, I want to make over my spirit. And that’s what led me to the theme of this story, dance!

So when David Mallett invited me to 1/ try the treatment and 2/ gawk have a peek at his chic new salon above The Webster in Soho, I said yes before the question was fully asked.

A Street Style With Tine and Luisa

Describe your style in 3 words.
Genuine, timeless and effortless.

Do you share clothes?
Yes, absolutely! It is just natural as we are friends, we work together and we also spend so much time together. Sometimes we are not even sure what pieces belong to whom. Yet, some pieces are really specific and personal to each of us.

The Strength of Poetry

Several years ago I was in a club. We called it Poetry Club. Very creative, for a bunch of poets, I know. We tossed around some alternate names for our club, but being poets and invested heavily in language as we...
