Ramdane & Victoire’s Apartment

When I was last in Paris, I visited my friends Ramdane and Victoire in their beautiful apartment in the 7th (okay so I was there first for his birthday party — such a fun day! — but it was such a special place that I had to go back during the day to take photos for you!!). Ramdane is pretty cool in Paris, he does all sorts of interesting projects (remember Buly??), and his unique sense of style is reflected in his home.
Every little nook had a captivating detail, from the colorful wallpaper of the dining room (that also functions as an office) to their collection of chairs and sofas in the living room… the classic French bathroom is also lovely — and filled with Buly products, of course! Oh, and the terrace! Ramdane’s wife Victoire made tea and cookies that we had while we enjoyed their view of the Eiffel Tower…
An eclectic, truly Parisian apartment.

I just love it, especially all the modern seating and the color of the walls in the living area. Modern can be warm and cozy! We purchased a barcelona chair imitation from Rove concepts, and I like it so much. I was afraid to mix modern pieces in with my more classic stuff at first, but even just one modern piece really…well…modernized a room. My West Elm martini tables and barcelona chair turned the chic level way up in my living room. I would love to live in this apartment!

Every time I see photos like these they serve as a reminder of how rubbish I am at decorating my own apartment! My idea of decorating was to leave a painting leaning on the wall instead of hanging it up :) I love the 7th in Paris- I’ve rented a flat there this summer and your photos bring beautiful memories :)

C’est pas pour faire mon aigrie mais les apparts typiquement parisiens, dans la vraie vie de plein de gens, ça fait 40m2 et c’est une coloc de 4 personnes ou plus, dont une qui vit dans le salon.
Mais sinon c’est quand même sublime, c’est beau des gens avec autant de goût!
I agree with this comment… The flat is great, well-located and very nicely decorated, with a great view on Paris, but most of us Parisians live in smaller flats, in not-so-nice neighborhoods. And as Paris has now become a concept, it feels like we need to remind these basic facts every now and then.
Quel goût ! J’aime le côté déco maîtrisée mais avec un esprit bordel organisé. Il y a tellement de déco d’appart millimétrées maintenant, cet appartement-là qui semble regorger de petites trouvailles éclectiques dans tous les coins est tellement plus chaleureux et vivant. Beautiful and eclectic place and amazing view but definitely NOT a truly parisian apartment : too big, too much huge windows, too big rooms. But it makes it perfect anyway :) beacuse small apartments are the problem in Paris :)
