Roman and Williams’ The Guild
6 years ago by
If you had a chance to catch last week’s episode of Pardon My French then you know that Garance is pretty much head over heels for Robin and Stephen of Roman and Williams. And with good reason, their spaces transcend the word “interior.” Case in point, RW Guild, their new space which just opened in Soho. We recorded the podcast as they were putting the finishing touches on the Guild, so we went back after it opened to show you the space in its full beauty. It’s part store, part florist, part café and wholly drool-worthy. You can buy everything you see—the furniture is designed by Robin and Stephen as part of their first collection of hard goods—and they’ve sourced beautiful homewards and objects from all over the world to include in the space. The café, Le Mercerie, is run by Marie-Aude Rose, the wife of the chef from another Roman and Williams project, Le Cou You (also delicious, and beautiful!).
The space is the epitome of modern retail luxury; where you can experience a space in a very pure form and shopping becomes a pleasure, instead of a chore. But we wouldn’t expect anything less from this duo.
Beauty in every single detail.
