At Home with Chelsea and Greg

I love when someone’s home matches the identity of their business and personal style. Case in point, the home of my good friend Chelsea (Creative Director for Simon Miller) and her husband Gregoire (a leather artisan). Holding tightly to balance and order, their Japanese influenced space also feels cozy, particularly so when their dog Marcel comes to say hello!
A perfectly cool couple with perfectly smart taste makes perfect sense of course, and Gregoire is French (in case you couldn’t guess), so all of those eccentricities one loves about Parisian flats also creeps in. The more decorative details, Buly candles and cheeky humor. A perfect marriage to Chelsea’s modern, minimalist , decisively clean and uncluttered taste. Pops of primary colors mixed with sleek wood design. All of it is pretty much exactly how I’d like my home one day! Which is why I don’t mind so much when they invite me over ;)
A serious SoHo find amidst a million cookie-cutter apartments, their home stands out, not just for the copious trees throughout their space seen from the windows, inviting you in, but for achieving that almost impossible feat of design AND usability. All that, plus a few barks from Marcel.
Tres beau ce canape bleu!!
Who makes the beautiful green pants?
Simon Miller
Very nice! do you know where their kitchen large table is from please? I am guessing probably vintage but which designer? Thank you

So in love!
I can’t even begin to say how much I love this home, and the couple who live there!
The brick and the carved wooden door, the plants… I ode’r know why, but it all seems so incredibly familiar when I look at it – as if I’m looking at photos of a place I once knew – familiar, and yet new (because i’ve certainly never been there!)
It’s just so welcoming and those shots of cobalt are like slivers of the deepest, clearest ocean slicing through the warm, woody, sandy islands of walls and floor <3
canon.
Ho ce canape bleu, magnifique !
Tres joli. Mais comment arosent-ils toutes ces plantes en hauteur?
absolutely love this place! even down to the vintage oven.. lots of character and not over the top! just stunning!
Les sacs en cuir sur l’etagere sont de beaux ornements ainsi que les outils qui donnent envie de les toucher.

j’aime beaucoup ce design 60’s ou Brésil
I really enjoyed pouring my attention over all the wonderful photo’s of this home. I found it a very welcome relief to be able to see objects and unexpected colors popping up throughout this space that were not just all about various shades of white and gray. Yes… This was something new and very fresh! ????????
Wonderful house, bags, and trousers (where are they from, by the way?). ??
who did the paintings?
