Ever since Alex came into my life, I’ve become more and more of a makeup pro. Having someone around you who loves beauty products is almost like having your own personal stylist. She knows my skin type (sensitive, combination), the stuff that really bothers me (dark circles, visible pores), and the stuff that I don’t really care about (wrinkles, freckles)…
She even knows my favorite colors.
So in terms of makeup, she’s introduced me to a few things that have changed everything for me… And now I’m doing my duty in passing them onto you!
Here are my makeup essentials right now – these are all so amazing and each one is tested and approved and, as you can see, directly came out of my makeup bag!

I was looking for a new way to do my eyebrows when you guys recommended the Benefit kit some time ago. It took me a bit to get used to it – and I use a brush similar to a (clean) mascara brush in between the steps and at the end, which I really miss as part of the kit – but I love it now! So a belated thanks for the tip! :)
Great photos! I also have the Chanel blusher – aside from the obviously gorgeous packaging, the blusher is lovely and natural and smells divine.

Comme Suze, j’utilise une brosse à sourcils que j’adore car çà fixe les sourcils et c’est très naturel!
Je dois ce conseil aux maquilleurs que j’ai rencontré avec le mannequinat, je ne m’en passe plus!

Garance, I have the same skin type as you (sensitive, combination) and I also recently discovered Chantecaille Future Skin, and it’s amazing (what do Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie share? – Brad Pitt and Chantecaille!)! Now that I have the perfect foundation, I wish I had Alex to help me with my colors, too!
I swear by Guarlain bronzer, it just works on ANYONE!!!

The formula of this Urban Decay revolution lipstick is so gorgeous. I swatched a few in Sephora but haven’t been able to decide which color I want…Bang? Catfight?
Also definitely want one of the new Chanel cream blushes…one of the intense berry shades for a bright, ruddy winter cheek.

I used and loved Brow Zings for years, but my new favorite is Benefit’s Gimme Brow. It gives a really natural look, like a good brow tint. Would love a tutorial on how to use an illuminator…cannot figure it out, but I know people rave about them (ie. Touche Eclat).
Now all we need is a “Pardon My French” with Alex applying the makeup!

I like makeup but I am realziing that I am not using mine very often, just the powder with very light coverage. I guess I’m loving my natural skin (far from perfect!).
The Pictures look beautiful… and the products seem to be the basics that any girl would need to possess to look nicely “made up”.

justement je discutais avec deux amies l’autre jour, toutes les deux mariées avec trois enfants chaque une…elle me disaient qu’elles n’ont pas le temps de se maquiller :)))…je leur dit que je trouve plus de plaisir à me maquiller aujourd’hui, peut-être l’âge…elles me répondent que parce que moi je suis célibataire et que c’est pour ceci que je devais me maquiller..je leur dit que ceci n’avait rien à voir, que c’est un truc à faire pour soit, …j’ignore si j’arriverais à leur convaincre ;-)

Le fond de teint Chantecaille à l’air super. Mais il me semble que lors de ton grand test des fonds de teints il ne matifiait pas suffisament, est-ce mieux à plus long terme? La marque promet une réduction des brillances après une semaine d’utilisation. Je suis très interressée par ce fond de teint, si quelqu’un l’a testé sur le plus long terme, peu-être pouvez vous me renseigner?
