Sona Gasparian is the founder of Persona Cosmetics. She launched Persona Cosmetics in 2016 with a single product, the Identity Palette, which was developed to be the perfect neutral palette to enhance brown eyes and has sold out multiple times since launch! Originally from Armenia, Sona now resides in Los Angeles, where she stills fosters an online beauty community while always testing products… some of which we learned about below!

What is your morning beauty routine?
I keep my morning skincare routine pretty simple with a gentle cleanser, toner, light serum, moisturizer and sunscreen. For my makeup, my go to is a bit of concealer, bronzer, blush, brow gel. mascara and a tinted balm. I feel my most confidant when I find ways to enhance my natural beauty with minimal products. I feel my skin looks fresh through the day.

What products do you use throughout the day and why?
I try to re-apply my sunscreen at least once in the afternoon. Depending on my makeup, I will either spray on my SuperGoop! sunscreen or apply my Elta spf 46 cream. After my sunscreen, I alway feel like I need to go over with my DreamStick Bronzer in Dune to bring back some color.

What is your evening beauty routine?
I take Calm Magnesium for better sleep. Magnesium has so many great benefits, I try to incorporate it into my nighttime routine a few times a week. I’m also very good about my skincare routine since I have acne-prone, textured skin. I always spend a good amount of time removing my makeup and using all my skincare products. It’s so relaxing especially after a warm bath or shower.

What is your definition of beauty?
I think beauty starts within. Taking care of ourselves from inside out is what makes us beautiful.

When do you feel most beautiful?
I feel my most beautiful when I’m intentional with my choices. Eating healthy, moving my body, being kind to myself and others, practicing gratitude on a daily, meditating.
