A beauty minute with Langley Fox Hemingway

Morning: I wash my face with Earth Science, you can get it at Whole Foods. I use Alba Hawaiian moisturizer. With makeup, I use Bare Minerals and a little bit of bronzer. Some eyeliner and mascara. I like a thicker mascara, I like it to be noticeable. Even though I cover my eyebrows [with my hair], I like the NARS Brow Gel.
My hair wasn’t green yesterday. I went with my friend Pamela [Love]. Nothing is natural on this head, I have naturally ash blonde hair.
Day: I always carry Chapstick.
Night: I do my same routine at night that I do in the morning. I always wash my face. I think that the biggest beauty secret is drinking a lot of water, that’s my thing.

Yes, she is gorgeous and young and this is a lovely portrait. But most of us will never look this good, no matter how much beauty advice we follow. So here’s a suggestion from a long-time and very supportive fan: How about a beauty moment with an older woman a bit more “average” looking, who radiates health and well-being in a way that is possible for us all.
I hope I don’t sound cranky, but truly, I’d love to see such a post.

Je suis d’accord avec Judith A.Ross. Ces post-beaute me font penser aux pubs des magazines vantant des produits miracles effaceurs de rides et autres, presentes par de tres jeunes et jolis models auxquels les femmes, passe la quarantaine ne peuvent s’identifier.
Par contre, cette photo est belle comme d’habitude et Langley est ravissante.

Yes!!! A girl after my own heart. I love the beauty minute posts, but I’m always like errrr Eve Lom cleanser costs nearly a week of my rent, etc.. I’m a huge fan of Earth Science, Bare Minerals, Alba, all of it! :)
Toutes ces femmes sont sublimes, avec ou sans maquillage et produits de soin…
Donc oui OUI pour des femmes healthy ayant un peu plus que la trentaine.
Et double oui pour des produits qu’on trouve en France et en Europe, et pas seulement des crèmes aux noms qui font rêver mais qu’on ne trouve qu’aux USA.

I agree with Judith A. Ross. I couldn’t have said it as nice as her. More realistic secrets from women of a certain age who are not model material would be more encouraging for all of us.
